I went to Alys Beach with Terry Slaughter (the designer of Alys Beach) and Devote Studio, and it was incredible. We took the trip to gather products for a photoshoot for the beach newspaper, but it became so much more than that. Not only did I get to experience the beauty of Alys Beach, but I also got to hear Terry’s explanation for everything. He designed the gardens, landscapes, restaurants, shops, and even the shell sidewalks.

The photoshoot for the Alys Gazette was also a blast (we ended up with a really fun spread!), but that trip will stay with me for years to come.
